Reigate events
RECENT FUNDRAISER
The Reigate Branch of Reform UK hosted a "Summers' End BBQ" fundraising event on Tuesday 8th September - many of our members and supporters joined us.
The aim of the event was to raise money for the branch which, of course, will go towards helping us increase awareness of Reform across the borough - and ensure we have reserves in place for the inevitable campaign activity the branch will be involved with in the future.
The BBQ event was an evening of fun, food, music, good company and conversation with like-minded neighbours, friends and branch members.
AGM
Our branch Annual General Meeting will be Thursday 22nd October, when the Management Committee will report to the membership on branch activities to date.
Elections will be held for new appointments to the Committee (details to follow shortly).
We welcome more volunteers to help the branch officers carry out their responsibilities. Please email chair.reigate@reformuk.com
to make yourself known.
ACTION DAYS
We will be planning several Action days around the Borough and welcome any volunteers, its actually quite fun.
An outstanding fun evening was had at our very successful Reigate branch dinner on September 30th at the prestigious Spaghetti Tree restaurant in Walton on the Hill, celebrating over a quarter of a million members now in Reform UK nationwide!
All profits went in aid of the Reigate branch campaign fighting fund. The event was fully sold out as people came for a great time, supported this fantastic cause & made a real difference!
-
Great entertainment from the excellent Ray Lowe.
-
Nostalgia from Karen Bizzell leading the crowd in songs from the 1940s – with lots of flag waving!
-
Good company, terrific food - & loads of raffle prizes.
-
Topped off with surprise guests from GB News & some brief but brilliant speeches.
Well done & a big thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make the evening such a rousing success.
Looking forward to next time…
